WHAT IS THE CAUSE OF THE VESSELS NOT BEING VISIBLE WELL IN THE SIMULATOR?

The most common cause is the absence or loss of artificial blood within the vessel lumen. The solution is to recharge the vessels with BIOTME® artificial blood through the valves on the simulators. Be careful to eliminate air within the vessel channel.

HOW MANY PUNCTURES CAN BE PRACTICED ON THE BIOT SIMULATORS?

It will depend on the size of the simulator, but as a general rule, and due to the structure of our material, more than 1,000 punctures can be performed, provided needles with a gauge lower than 18G are used.

WHICH SIMULATOR SHOULD I USE FOR PERFORMING TECHNIQUES THAT REQUIRE SYSTEMS WITH METAL STRUCTURE?

For this type of practice, you should use BIOT Biotme®, specially designed for such procedures, which prevent damage to the gel used in the construction of our simulators

WHAT IS THE CONSISTENCY OF THE BIOT SIMULATORS?

BIOTECH MEDICAL SIMULATION has managed to manufacture simulators with a structure similar to that of the human body. The sensation of puncture on the skin and vessels very realistically reproduces what we perceive when practicing these techniques on our patients..

ARE THE VESSELS OF THE BIOT DEPRESSIBLE?

The structure of the vessels is depressible and replicates human anatomy. Simulators with specific pathologies (thrombosis, atheroma plaques, extrinsic compression) have been constructed, presenting an image and response to compression with the ultrasound probe similar to that of a real patient
